Panther Admin

Panther Admin provisioning (ESG) handles access and authorisation of network equipment, as well as assigns and/or administrates IP-addresses in the network.

The ESG are the connection/abstraction layer between hardware and the Panther Admin user interface. The ESG interfaces with DHCP Server(s), firewall(s) and routers/switches, modems/cpes. The ESG has multiple operation modes. Each setup will be described in separate integration paper.

This module monitors the switches in the network, and keeps track of which customer’s equipment that has been used at a particular time, as well as which mac addresses that belong to which customer. The module is build according to swedish law.
